Oral History

The Société historique Beaurepaire-Beaconsfield Historical Society is recording the oral memories of Beaconsfield residents, current or past, about our city and about their life.  The Society is affiliated with the Concordia University Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling and Professor Steven High, Canada Research Chair in Public History.

We are interested in collecting memories over a wide spectrum of life in Beaconsfield and might encompass virtually anything

from
Accidents/Adolescence/Age/Agriculture
to
Wildlife/Women/World Wars
as well as almost anything in between.  Interviews will be audio-recorded and the content will be verified with the interviewees before any publication.

If you would like to share your memories of life here in Beaconsfield with the Society, please contact us.
