Statue at the Library

One of the two statues that marqued the entrance to the rose garden on the property of Sir George Drummond. This property extended North of the railway up to the northern limit of Beaconsfield, West of St.Charles Boulevard up to Westcroft Avenue. The estate was called Huntlywood by his owner. The rose garden was roughly where Evergreen Crescent is.

After standing in front of the 10 Evergreen Crescent for many years, then in the center of that crescent for a few years, this statue was restaured in 2010 to be installed in the Beaconsfield Library hence being protected from the weather.
